A Plinko arcade inside a glass bottle
The chips do not disappear when they reach the bottom. They stay in the jars, bump into one another and become part of the board. A later chip can land on a pile, shift it or bounce toward another jar.
This is our own Plinko arcade game: a glass bottle, rows of pegs and seven jars to fill. Collect enough chips in a jar and you can turn an ordinary peg into a bumper. Each upgrade changes what happens when the next chip hits that part of the board.
There is no bet to set and no multiplier to chase. The aim is to collect jars and experiment with the board you build.
How to play Plinko Unblocked
- Drop a chip. Tap or click Drop Smiley to release a smiley into the bottle. The current version launches one new chip at a time; wait for the button to become available before dropping another.
- Fill a jar. Chips settle in the seven jars at the bottom. They keep their colors and remain physical objects, so a new arrival can move the chips already there.
- Collect a ready jar. A jar becomes collectible when it contains at least five chips. Tap the highlighted jar to collect the chips inside and receive a bumper upgrade.
- Choose a peg. Available pegs light up. Tap or click one to turn it into a bumper immediately. There is no separate confirmation button.
Keep dropping chips to see how the new bumper changes the action. Collect another jar to add another bumper.
The jars are part of the playing field
Five chips is the collection threshold, not a rule that a jar can hold exactly five. The chips are round and settle wherever their collisions take them. They can leave small gaps, form uneven stacks or pile up around a jar’s opening.
A chip resting above the rim is not necessarily inside the jar. Use the ready highlight rather than counting every chip near its mouth.
You can collect a ready jar straight away or leave its contents in place. When you collect it, the chips inside are removed. Chips resting above them can then settle into the newly opened space. Collecting a jar changes the pile as well as giving you an upgrade.
Add bumpers and change the next bounce
A bumper is a powered-up peg. It gives a chip an extra push when they collide, with a short visual and sound reaction to make the hit easy to follow.
Bumpers stay installed for the current game. They do not expire after three drops, and collecting another jar does not remove the ones you have already placed. An installed bumper cannot be upgraded again through the same action.
The choice of peg is yours; the exact landing is not. A bumper does not select a destination jar or guarantee a particular result. The chip still has to pass through the rest of the board and any piles waiting below.
Start by changing one peg and watching a few drops. It is easier to see what an upgrade does before you add several more.
Four chip colors, one collection rule
Yellow, blue, green and pink smileys can all land in any of the seven jars. In the current version, a chip does not need to match the jar’s colored rim to count toward collection.
A mixed jar is normal. The colors identify the four characters; they do not change the value of a landing. Chips keep their own appearance instead of turning into a jar’s color.
What does “unblocked” mean here?
People use “Plinko unblocked” to look for a browser game they can open without an installation or account. This version is playable on this page, with no download or sign-up required.
“Unblocked” is not a promise that a website will be accessible on every school or work network. A network administrator can still restrict access. This page does not bypass those restrictions or require you to install an unblocker.
Playing on mobile and desktop
The game uses taps on a touchscreen and clicks on a computer. Use the same actions for dropping chips, collecting jars and choosing bumper positions. Keep the board in view while choosing a peg; the upgrade is installed as soon as you select it.
Sound is optional. Use the game’s sound control to turn audio on or off. The jar highlights and bumper reactions also show what is happening without sound.
How is this different from Plinko Free?
Our Plinko Free page is the virtual-credit version: it lets you explore bets, Rows, Risk and adjustable RTP. It serves a different purpose from this arcade.
Unblocked is about physical chips, jars and bumper upgrades. There is no virtual bankroll or payout table here, and the figures from our mathematical tools do not describe the jar distribution on this changing board.
Game questions
Why is the Drop Smiley button unavailable?
The game temporarily disables Drop while the current chip is still active, while you are choosing a bumper, or when the bottle opening is blocked. It also pauses when the board cannot accept more chips.
Why does a jar look full but not light up?
Collection depends on the chips inside the jar, not the size of the pile above it. Some chips may be balanced on the rim or on neighboring chips rather than counted as contents. Watch for the jar’s ready highlight.
Can I choose exactly which jar a chip lands in?
No. You choose bumper positions, but the chip’s route develops through physical collisions. The chips already on the board can affect later arrivals, too.
Is there a cash prize or a final score to beat?
No cash prizes are offered. This version focuses on collecting chips and adding bumpers, rather than multiplying a score or playing for money.
Why can I not hear the game?
Check the in-game sound control and your device volume. Start a drop before testing the audio: a browser may wait for an interaction before allowing sound.
Why is the board not loading?
The interactive board needs JavaScript and its game files to load. Check your connection and whether your browser or network is preventing those files from loading. No separate app or browser extension is required to play.
