Our current consent-management configuration is set to remember your consent choice for up to 365 days, unless a new choice is required earlier.

A consent-state cookie such as cmplz_marketing does not mean that When You Get Lucky uses marketing or advertising trackers. It may be stored simply to record that category’s consent state.

Analytics cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use When You Get Lucky.

Under our current consent configuration, Google Analytics is not activated until you choose to allow analytics. If you reject analytics, Google Analytics is not activated for that visit.

Analytics information may include:

• approximate geographic information;
• browser, device and operating-system information;

We use this information to understand website performance and improve our content, games, tools and user experience.

Google Analytics cookies

Google Analytics 4 may use first-party cookies after analytics consent has been granted.

Standard Google Analytics cookies include:

• _ga — used to distinguish browsers and users. Google documents a default expiration period of up to 2 years, although browser and platform restrictions may shorten this period.
• _ga_<container-id> — used to persist session state for a Google Analytics property. Google documents a default expiration period of up to 2 years, subject to browser and platform restrictions.

On When You Get Lucky, the property-specific cookie currently uses the measurement identifier associated with our Google Analytics property.

Google Analytics may use an IP address during collection to derive approximate geographic information. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.

We do not use Google Analytics on When You Get Lucky for personalized advertising.

Local browser storage

Some interactive features use local browser storage rather than cookies.

For example, the free Plinko game stores information such as virtual balance, selected game settings and recent session activity in local storage. This allows the game to preserve its state between page loads without requiring an account.

This locally stored game state is functional data. It is separate from Google Analytics and remains on your device during normal use.

Local storage does not necessarily expire on a fixed schedule. It may remain on your device until it is removed, overwritten or reset by your browser or by the relevant website feature.

You can clear local storage through your browser settings. Doing so may reset saved game state or tool preferences.

Your choices and consent

Where consent is required, optional analytics is disabled unless you choose to allow it.

You can:

• accept analytics;
• reject analytics;
• review your current preferences;
• change your preferences later;
• withdraw previously given consent.

Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from accessing When You Get Lucky or using its core features.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Manage consent control available on the website.

You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Removing necessary consent cookies may cause the website to ask for your preferences again.

Affiliate links and third-party websites

When You Get Lucky contains affiliate and external links, including links to online casino operators, game providers and other third-party websites.

Some affiliate links may contain referral identifiers or tracking parameters that allow the destination website or affiliate platform to attribute a referral to When You Get Lucky.

Following an external or affiliate link does not by itself give that third-party website permission to place cookies on When You Get Lucky.
